Bjork gives props to Micachu

A while ago we blogged about a certain Mr Reznor confessing himself a mad fanboy as he premiered a clip by The Horrors up on his website.

Well now Icelandic pop pioneer Bjork has taken to the trend by premiering Micachu's clip for Turn Me Well on her site.

Bjork has previously sung the praises of Mica saying:

"I saw her in London, in June, a year ago and I was really excited about her. I thought it was that sort of 'do it yourself' approach, with all these little guitars and her attitude was really fresh… think it's really, really fun. (She)is a bit of a prankster really, isn't she?"

Micachu's album Jewellery is out now through Rough Trade/Remote Control.

Yet another track taken from the stunning new album by Yo La Tengo, Popular Songs.

Also well worth a look is a great interview Pitchfork have up with Dario Robleto, the conceptual sculptor responsible for the burnt tape that appears on the album's artwork.

Popular Songs is out now, so be sure to run out and grab a copy.

Those who STILL need further convincing can stream the album in full here.

New video from Peaches - Take You On

Never one to take the 'toned down' approach, Peaches offers up the video for Take You On.
Donning a plethora of wigs, beards, lamé and sequins, Peaches multiplies and struts her stuff en masse in what seems to be a parallel universe of colour, geometric patterns and synths.
