New video - Gil Scott-Heron doco on Pitchfork TV this week only
Catch it while you can! PitchforkTV have a 11 minute doco about Gil Scott-Heron's first album in 13 years - I'm New Here.
It features interviews with the man himself, Richard Russell (producer & head of XL Recordings) and others involved in the project, fascinating footage of them recording in the studio and Gil sharing his stories.
UK dates were recently announced for a Gil Scott-Heron tour in April. Fingers crossed someone brings him to our side of the equator soon!
