The Horrors and Friendly Fires perform at The Mercury Prize 2009

They were shortlisted for the prize on the back of their second album Primary Colours which completely blew away both critics and fans alike.

On the other end of the spectrum, co-shortlisters and label mates Friendly Fires performed Jump In The Pool from their knockout self titled debut.
