Charge Group 'Escaping Mankind' tour

"A gorgeous, unequivocal piece of musical excellence." The Brag

Sydney quartet Charge Group take to the road through late October and November in support of their highly praised debut album Escaping Mankind.

Recorded by the band and producer Wayne Connolly over numerous session and in various locations, the album is distinctive for its lush instrumentation of strings, flutes and percussion. This - coupled with the unique vocals of singer Matt Blackman (ex-Purplene) - carries this brave and beautiful collection of tunes out of the traditional rock/pop arena and into an untouched, often desolate yet distinctly Australian sonic territory.
