Albert Hammond, Jr. - Lillywhite Session
The Stokes' Albert Hammond, Jr. released his second solo album ¿Cómo Te Llama? a few months ago. Originally slated to tour Australia in August, the shows were unfortunately cancelled due do a throat infection. Which also coincided with his engagement to model Agyness Deyn. Hmmm...As a small consolation, you can hear Albert and his merry men play a few tracks from the new album at NPR.

And speaking of Strokes offshoots, drummer Fabrizio Moretti has teamed up with Brazilian musician Rodrigo Amarante and LA native Binki Shapiro to form Little Joy. Their self-titled debut album is set for release early November. A little bit Strokes and a little bit Tropicaia... in our books that makes for a perfect summer record. You can download the first single Keep Me In Mind here.myspace.com/littlejoymusic
