Lou Reed: New title, new mp3 and new video

Lou Reed's upcoming release now has the new title of Berlin: Live at St. Ann’s Warehouse and is set for release in Australia on October 25th.

The album is a recording of the first ever live performance of the controversial 1973 masterwork which was staged over 4 days in a Brooklyn warehouse in December 2006, more than three decades after the original release. You can read more about the remarkable project here.

The first MP3 from the record is “Caroline Says, Pt. II.” The song is one of Lou Reed’s heavier subjects, and it receives an extraordinarily moving rendition here:
